Arur Singh, or Rur Singh, son of Mihan Singh, Jat, V. Kotli Thau Singh, P. S. Sadr. District Jullundur. Went to America about 1908 and became a member of the Ghadr Party in 1915. Returned to his village in 1920. He came to the notice of the Jullundur Police in 1920 when he took part in anti-Govemment agitation and a warrant for his arrest under Section 107, Criminal Procedure Code was issued against him. He evaded arrest and as he was already in possession of a passport managed to leave the country. In 1927 he was reported to be a member of the Ghadr Party in America and Canada. Returned to his village in 1927.
