Arjan Singh
Arjan Singh, son of Lal Singh, Jat, of V. and P. S. Jagraon, District Ludhiana. He is not a returned emigrant. He was introduced to Banta Singh of Sanghwal (hanged) at Dhudeke. In March 1915 he delivered a seditious lecture at a fair at Killi village, P. S. Moga, District Ferozepore and was present at meetings near Dudher and at Kapurthala in June when it was decided to attack the State Magazine. He was seduced by Bhagat Singh of Ballowal (formerly of the Ghadr Party) who lectured at Kairon village. He supplied money for the attack on Doraha bridge and was aware of the bombs that were buried. He was sent up for trial in the Lahore Supplementary Case, was convicted and sentenced to transportation for life. On the 9th March 1918, he escaped from the Hazari Bagh Central Jail and was awarded a further sentence of 2 years' rigorous imprisonment under Section 221 Indian Penal Code. He was, however, conditionally released in 1927. Is present at his village since his release. Attended the District Nau Jawan Bharat Sabha Conference on 29th November 1931. He associates with Akalis and Chanan Singh of Chuhar Chak, Mit Singh of Pandori (M-35) and Narain Singh of Man. Is an active member of the Akali Panth and renders support to the Akali Jathas. Is a well-to-do man entertaining political views. Owns landed property.

Arur Singh
Arur Singh, or Rur Singh, son of Mihan Singh, Jat, V. Kotli Thau Singh, P. S. Sadr. District Jullundur. Went to America about 1908 and became a member of the Ghadr Party in 1915. Returned to his village in 1920. He came to the notice of the Jullundur Police in 1920 when he took part in anti-Govemment agitation and a warrant for his arrest under Section 107, Criminal Procedure Code was issued against him. He evaded arrest and as he was already in possession of a passport managed to leave the country. In 1927 he was reported to be a member of the Ghadr Party in America and Canada. Returned to his village in 1927.

Asa Singh
Asa Singh, son of Uttam Singh, of Kharaudi, P. S. Mahiipur, District Hoshiarpur. He went to America in 1905, where he became a member of the Ghadr Party, and spent 6% years there. He returned to India in March 1913, and was concerned in the outrage committed by Ghaniya Singh in the Patiala State. He returned to America in 1915. At the end of 1921 he was reported to have paid a visit to the Ghadr Ashram, San Francisco, from the Imperial Valley for discussing the question of the rights of East Indians to the U.S. citizenship. Early in 1922 he was in the Imperial Valley, and reported to be a close adherent of the Ghadr Party. In August of the same year he was elected a member of the General Ghadr Committee for publishing the "Ghadr" newspaper. In 1926 his name appeared as one of the Hindu Advisory Committee on Sailendra Nath Ghose's Indian Freedom Foundation of New York. He was then working at Clint in Texas. He is reported to be deeply interested in the Kirti movement and wrote to Arjan Singh of Kharaudi (A-29) to help the cause. In 1930 when in the Imperial Valley he is believed to have sheltered Rattan Singh alias Ishar Singh (R-36) who had arrived from Europe to see the Ghadr Party leaders. His address in July 1932 was P. O. H. 55, Clint, Texas. His present address is Sawtelle, Los Angeles Co., U. S. A.

Asa Singh
Asa Singh, son of Khushal Singh, Village Bhatti Bhaini, P. S. Patti, District Lahore. Was employed as a watchman in Shanghai from 1921 to May 1929. He was charged with the attempted murder of a fellow Indian in November 1927 but was acquitted for want of sufficient evidence. He made a series of objectionable speeches at meetings held in the Paoshing Road Gurdwara, Shanghai, during 1928 and 1929, in the course of which he recommended that violent measures should be taken against Municipal Police Detectives engaged in watching Indian seditionist activities. He was arrested on 6th May 1929 and prosecuted under Article 79 of China Order-in-Council of 17th March 1925 and was sentenced to one month's imprisonment and subsequent deportation on 20th May 1929. Left Shanghai for India on 29th June 1929. He was a recipient of the "Kirti" newspaper. Is a disloyal and disreputable character. Is at present in his village and has attended Congress meetings in Patti. Owns a few bighas of land.

Atma Singh
Atma Singh, son of Wasaka Singh, of Sundun, P. S. Sri Gobindpur. District Gurdaspur. Emigrated to China in 1906. Was employed as a watchman at Shanghai and reported to be a seditionist. He took an active part in the Ghadr movement in 1915 with Tehl Singh of Padri Kalan, District Amritsar (formerly a recognised leader of the Ghadr Party) and other prominent Ghadrites. He was a personal friend of the notorious Tarak Nath Das for whom he used to work. He gave financial assistance to a seditionist named Mula Singh (M-52). He came to India sometime prior to 1917 but went back after a year's stay. Was employed with his brother Ishar Singh (1-28) at Messrs, Llewellyn & Co., Nanking Road, Shanghai. Received a communication in February 1927 from the Akali Dal, Amritsar, protesting against tiie despatch of Indian troops of China. Left Shanghai for India by the s.s. "Awa Maru" on the 7th October 1928, holding Shanghai Passport No. 5318, dated the 3rd October 1928 and arrived at his village on 4th November 1928. The Shanghai authorities deprecated his return to China in the event of his showing any signs of undersirable activities in the Punjab. As he had not given any cause for complaint since his return his passport was endorsed for return journey to Shanghai in December 1929, and he left for that place in April 1930. Is reported to be still there.
